AD224 is a custom design 4-way Antenna Distribution System for Diversity Receivers for portable sound bags.
Custom Tuned RF Filtering:
RF filtering rejects unwanted signals and only pass signals within the RF Bandpass filter bandwidth. Protects receivers from interference, ensuring reliable RF reception.

The AD224 is an active antenna distribution system with custom-tuned bandpass filters for high selectivity and minimal insertion loss. It replaces multiple receiver antennas, offering a compact solution with improved RF performance and advanced filtering that cleans dirty RF signals before they reach diversity receivers.
Selective front-end filtering is crucial in today’s crowded spectrum to guard against unwanted signals. The AD224 is designed for portable sound bag applications where weight and size are critical without sacrificing performance. Inputs are standard BNC connectors; outputs are 2x4 mini-RF SMA connectors for diversity receivers.
When remote active antenna powering is needed, the AD224 offers switchable power with status LEDs and menu control. It features high input handling, low-noise RF amplifiers, and excellent inter-modulation performance. The tuning bandwidth is semi-broadband and user-adjustable RF gain from +6dB to -10dB, compatible with digital, hybrid, and analogue receivers.
Powered externally (10–18Vdc) via a Hirose compatible connector, it includes a voltmeter for monitoring voltage. Audio Wireless AD and AC systems are now preferred by freelance sound engineers, rental companies, and broadcasters for wireless applications.
